What is contract intake software?

Contract intake software is the single place where anyone in a company asks for a new contract or NDA, captures the details legal needs, and routes the request to the right reviewer instead of an inbox.

In Aavenir Contractflow, intake is the first stage of one contract record. A request can start in ServiceNow, in Aavenir, or straight from an RFPflow award, and Aavenir AI fills request fields from a counterparty draft for the requester to confirm.

What is a contract intake process?

A contract intake process is how the business asks legal or procurement for a new agreement: one form, the details reviewers need, and a route to the right person. Contractflow runs it as the first stage of the contract record, so the request and the signed contract stay together. See Contractflow.

Can a contract request start from an RFP award?

Yes. When an RFPflow award closes, the contract request opens with the supplier, the awarded line items and the split award share already on the record. A person still picks the template and the review path before drafting starts. See source to contract.

Does contract intake work without ServiceNow?

Yes. On ServiceNow, requests start in your instance and use your users, roles and workflow. Teams that do not run ServiceNow raise the same guided request in Aavenir, with the same Avy field extraction and the same handoff to drafting. Compare deployment options.
