What is AI contract search?

AI contract search lets people ask questions about their contracts in plain language and get an answer drawn from the clauses themselves, with the source cited, instead of matching keywords and opening documents one at a time.

How is AI contract search different from keyword search?

Keyword search finds documents that contain a word, and you still read each one. AI contract search reads the clauses for you and answers the question, such as which contracts auto renew without a cap, with the clause cited so you can check it. See the contract repository.

Can AI search answer one question across many contracts?

Yes. A question can cover one contract, one supplier or the whole repository, and the answer lists every matching agreement with its clause. For event driven questions ranked by value, such as a CPI move or an outage, Aavenir offers Atlas. See Atlas.

Who can see AI search results?

Only people whose role allows it. Search follows the same role based access as the repository, with SSO through OAuth 2.0 and SAML and audit logging, so a question never returns a contract the person could not open directly. Read about security.
