Suppliers register once, then keep their own company details, bank information, certifications and contacts up to date. The buying company uses the same portal to invite suppliers to sourcing events, share purchase orders, receive invoices and answer questions. It is also called a vendor portal.

Both sides see the same status for each request, order or payment, which cuts the calls and emails that usually go with supplier work.
