What are mass contracts?
Mass contracts is the ability to create, send and manage the same standard contract to many recipients in one operation, instead of one at a time.
How it works
The user picks a standard template, selects a list of recipients and sends. The system creates an individual contract for each recipient, filling in names and other details, sends each for review or signature and tracks every one to completion. Nobody has to handle the contracts one by one.
Common uses
- Policy updates. Sending updated privacy terms or a supplier code of conduct to every counterparty.
- Regulatory changes. Issuing a new data protection addendum to all suppliers that process personal data.
- Employee agreements. Distributing confidentiality or policy acknowledgments to staff.
- Supplier terms. Rolling out revised standard terms to a whole supplier base.
Why it matters
Sending one contract to hundreds of parties by hand is slow and error prone, and it is hard to tell who has signed. Mass contracts keep the wording identical for everyone, save hours of handling and give a clear status for each recipient.
How Aavenir handles it
Contractflow sends a standard contract to many counterparties at once, tracks signature status for each and files every signed copy on its own contract record.

Common questions
When should you use mass contracts?
When the same standard agreement must go to many parties, such as a new data protection addendum for all suppliers or updated terms for a customer base. Bespoke negotiated contracts still need individual handling. Read about contract templates.
Can each mass contract be personalized?
Yes. Recipient details such as company name, address and contact are filled in for each contract from your records, while the core terms stay the same for everyone. Read about contract addendums.
How do you track signatures on mass contracts?
The system records the status of each contract, such as sent, viewed, signed or declined, and sends reminders to those who have not signed. Every signed copy is then filed automatically. See Contractflow.
