# What is supply chain sustainability?

Supply chain sustainability is how a company manages the environmental, social and ethical impact of its suppliers, covering emissions, waste, labor standards, human rights and anti corruption.

## What it covers

A company is judged not only on its own operations but on those of its suppliers, which often account for most of its environmental and social footprint. Sustainable supply chain management brings those issues into everyday buying decisions alongside quality, speed and cost.

- **People.**fair wages, safe conditions, no forced or child labor.

- **Ethics.**anti bribery, anti corruption and transparent reporting.
