# What is RFx software?

RFx software runs requests for information, proposal and quotation in one system, with templates, supplier responses, scoring and side by side comparison on a central record.

## What RFx means

RFx is the umbrella term for the requests procurement sends to the market:

- **Request for information.**learn about the market and possible suppliers.

- **Request for proposal.**ask how suppliers would solve a need and on what terms.

- **Request for quotation.**ask for prices on defined goods or services.
